Call for Contributions - Policy Research on the Implementation of a Human Rights Based Approach in Development Partnership [Post-2015]

Dear colleagues,
Greetings from the CPDE Global Secretariat!

The CSO Partnership for Development Effectivness (CPDE) is currently implementing a three-year action entitled “Enhancing Civil Society Role in Development Partnerships Post 2015,” which aims to ensure significant CSO contribution in global and regional development policy arenas through the GPEDC and other relevant processes in light of the implementation of the new Sustainable Development Goals.
In line with this, the CPDE will produce a Policy Research on the Implementation of a Human Rights Based Approach in Development Partnership [Post-2015], which is set to examine Development Partnerships in relation to their adherence to a Human Rights Based Approach, at the different levels and sectors of development work.

Organisations who will contribute to this initiative are expected to submit a comparative case study assessing development partnerships in their sub-region/ region, or across sectors, institutions, donors or stakeholder partners on how they implement the Human Rights Based Approach, promote Human Rights, or the Right to Development.

The case studies shall look into the various efforts of development partners to mainstream human rights across all areas of development processes. It shall also examine how HR principles and standards are adopted in the implementation frameworks of development partnerships, and the gaps in its implementations. More importantly, the studies shall propose recommendations to help shape and inform partnerships.

CPDE and IBON International invite you to be part of this initiative. If you are interested, please send an Expression of Interest with outline and abstract on or before Apr 3, 2017.
EOIs from interested organisations will be compiled by IBON International and processed by the CPDE Coordination Committee.
The concept note and other details of the research will be released at the soonest possible time. For questions and concerns, please contact Ingrid Shannah Calapit (icalapit@iboninternational.org) with cc to Jennifer Malonzo (jmalonzo@iboninternational.org).
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
